Enduro Bearings introduced MAX bearings two decades ago for bicycles, tackling mountain bike pivot challenges. MAX bearings offer 35-40% more load capacity than standard Angular-Contact bearings, using a unique design with maximum balls (full-complement) and deeper race grooves for enhanced lateral support. This MAX-type, Double-Row, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for superior element protection. The double-row design minimizes suspension linkage flex and doubles bearing contact area, while black-oxide treatment ensures corrosion resistance and extended performance.
