Description
The most famous MIG 25 (known as red 31) was flown by Lieutenant John Belenko who flew the high performance MIG to Hakodate Japan on July 27 1976. The defection of the Soviet pilot gave Allied intelligence the first opportunity to closely inspect the high performance MIG-25. A few MIG-25's still operate in Air Force units of a few countries including Libya, India and Algeria.
