Description
The Lancia Stratos is one of the most iconic vehicles in the history of motorsport and was designed with the precise goal of winning the rally competitions of that time. As a successor to the also famous Lancia Fulvia HF, she made her debut in the early 1970s. The Lancia Stratos is characterised by a modern and extremely attractive design, with a low and very aggressive body designed by Bertone. It was equipped with a 2400cc V6 engine derived from the Ferrari Dino, with 250 hp. The combination of the powerful six-cylinder engine and the innovative, lightweight and compact chassis formed the basis for the creation of a vehicle that changed the history of off-road competition. The first successes came on her debut in 1973, and she solidified, thanks also to legendary drivers, by winning three consecutive World Constructors' Championships in the 1970s.
