Description

Tagua Slices Tagua Chips 20 Tagua Slices in a Mix of Black and Red Patterns | Handpainted Eco Natural Jewelry Making Supplies | Top Drilled, one hole. Tagua “vegetable ivory” is a white nut that grows in Colombia. The palm grows in the wild at lower elevations across Colombia, so there is no need to start tagua plantations. Locals collect fruit from the forest floor year-round after it falls from the tree, and the seeds are then extracted and dried. Each piece is handmade completed. The artisans slice the nuts, tint them in simmering pots of colorful dye and assemble the pieces into different shapes, color and sizes. We have a great variety of beds, buttons, necklaces, bracelets and frames, among others. Due to the nature and size of the tagua nuts, all sizes and colors are approximate…not exact. The beads can be used for all sorts of jewelry and crafts making.
