Nike Vaporfly 3 Men's Competition Road Running Shoe Grab them when you can. The Nike Vaporfly 3 is designed for speed on competition day to overcome any distance. It was designed for chasers, racers and pacers who can't resist the thrill of pursuit. We have revised the super shoe and optimised its drive so that you can achieve personal best performance from the 10 km run to the marathon. This versatile road running workhorse is suitable for anyone who sees speed as a gateway to more miles and seemingly unattainable heights, whether top runners or newcomers. Dynamic running feel The full-length carbon fiber FlyPlate ensures a secure, driving feel while running. Speed for every mile Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, is now even better. It runs from heel to toe, allowing even more energy return than before and a springy feel with every step. Stable running feel Do you see the midsole arch at the heel? We have developed them so that less weight is placed on the inside of the foot and you enjoy a more stable running feeling. Airy design Specially selected Flyknit yarns and special forefoot zones give the Vaporfly a new level of performance. A breathable toe area and soft, durable yarns equip the Vaporfly with our perfectly adapted design so far. The result is a softer, cooler design that adapts to your foot. What's new on the Vaporfly 3? The updated, thin rubber on the outsole is designed for less material use without compromising durability. The result is a lighter and not quite as thick outsole. This allows more ZoomX foam to be used under the foot for smoother rolling while running. The lightweight padding on the tab reduces pressure from laces at the arch of the foot. The outsole pattern with waffle profile and perforations saves weight and provides traction on different surfaces in various weather conditions. The offset heel seam reduces friction in the heel area. Weight: 200 g (men's shoe size 9) Drop: 8 mm. The wider toe area ensures a roomier fit. An integrated foam pad on the heel provides additional cushioning.
