CTISMICE Rolling Mill Jewelry, Manual Full Round Roller Mill Machine with Hand Crank for Pressing Round and Half Round Wire, Jewelry Making Tool for Reducing Thickness of Gold Silver Copper Metal Wire
Multifunctional Rolling Mill: The rolling mill come with extensions that allow extra half round rollers to be added to the side of the mill. These extension rollers increase flexibility, enabling the rolling mill to be adapted as needed. Jewelers who use a full round miller to work with round wire and who only occasionally need to roll half round wire will benefit from a rolling mill with full round rollers and side extension rollers that can be used for 1/2 round wire
Round Wire Shaping: Full round rollers are for rolling out wire but will roll it in a round cross section. These rollers will create wire that is fully round. The rollers can also be used to reduce the diameter of round wire. The wire is pushed between the round grooves and the handle turned so the wire is drawn into the grooved section of the rollers – this then shapes it (Note: Total 17 round grooves)
D-Shape Wire Forming: Side extension rolllers with D-shape channels allow D-shape wire to be formed, and follow similar principles as shaping. The wire is fed through the D-shape section rollers and, once it has passed through, the thickness can then be checked. If it is not of the required thickness, simply repeat the process until complete (Note: Total 9 half round grooves)
6:1 Reduction Gear Ratio: Reduction gear mills have a gear ratio of 6:1, requiring six turns of the handle for the rolls to complete a single rotation. Although the handle must be turned several times to rotate the rolls, much less force is required, reducing the amount of physical effort needed to feed metal through the mill. It is a valuable and practical tool for jewelers
Jewelry Studio Essentials: A jeweler's rolling mill is a machine consisting of two very smooth, highly polished, hardened steel rollers, mounted in a strong, rigid frame.High-quality hardened rollers ensure even rolling with lower risk of scratches or dents. When properly cared for and maintained, high quality mills retain their value over time. Most jewelry studios are equipped with a manual rolling mill
