Picture this: a team of passionate engineers and DIY enthusiasts gathered together, fueled by the desire to create a product so universal that anyone should have it in their kit. During the development process, we identified a common struggle – the need for a painless, extremely universal solution for splicing, to shield wire looms and pipes or cover up that you forgot to put on regular heat shrink tubing before soldering and now the wire cannot be disconnected. Thus, the LOCme shrink wrap tape was born. Whether you're an electrician seeking professional-grade insulation, a DIY enthusiast bundling a wire harness for a home project or just looking for a gift for an engineer our heat wrap tape rises to the occasion. What sets our heat shrink tape apart is its resilience. Engineered with quality materials, it stands up to extreme temperatures, UV exposure and environmental challenges. No matter the conditions, our shrink tape creates a durable, rock hard and weatherproof seal, guarding your connections from the elements. Application instructions: Once your use case has been found - heat one end until it becomes sticky (or you can secure the start with regular tape or a zip-tie), wrap around the desired area and use a heat gun starting from the front. The tighter you wrap and zip tie, the cleaner the end result. Careful with your fingers but once the tape is cool, you will have a tight, secure seal. Operating temperature: -40 ºF to 221 ºF (-40 ºC to 105 ºC). Shrink temperature: 257 ºF (125 ºC). Voltage class: 6 - 15 kV.
