Roridin A, a mycotoxin sourced from M. verrucaria, inhibits P. falciparum growth (EC50 = 0.31 ng/ml). It's toxic to rabbits at doses of 2.3, 3.9, or 4.1 mg/kg and has been detected in agricultural soil samples.
