It is an ideal work surface for high-temperature applications such as soldering, welding, and casting metals like gold, silver, and copper. Great for holding your hot tools while working, such as torch tips, ingot molds, crucibles, tongs, stir rods, and more. Provides heat resistance up to 2200°F, and can easily be cleaned with water.
