1) Please ensure your motherboard has a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD slot. SATA M.2 NGFF SSD slots are not supported. If the interface is not compatible, the drive will not function.
2) This product supports installing one U.2 SFF-8639 drive in the PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD slot. This requires an SSF-8654 to SFF-8639 cable.(Not work for SAS or Slimeline SAS HD)
3) Transfer speeds vary depending on your motherboard's interface. The adapter does not change transfer speeds. The drive signal cable connects directly to your PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD slot, eliminating the need for a chip and limiting drive performance.
4) The adapter only supports 2280mm mounting slots. Please ensure your motherboard has sufficient mounting space before purchasing.
5) The adapter only supports connecting a U.2 SFF-8639 SSD using an SSF-8654 to SFF-8639 cable. (U.2 SFF-8639 SSDs are not SAS interfaces, so please do not confuse them.)
