1. Connect the antenna cable to the left F Female and the battery cable to the right F Female. Remove any external amplifiers* connected to the antenna.
2. Adjust the antenna to the best position by looking at the meter reading. Higher on the scale gives a better signal. When the viewfinder reading becomes full scale, adjust the control knob to decrease the reading to approximately 5 (turning the knob clockwise decreases the reading), continue moving the antenna until you get the highest possible meter reading .
3. Remove the viewfinder and replace any amplifier that was disconnected.
