Product Function :
This clamping bolt is used to secure the blade of a miter saw. The bolt is reverse threaded to ensure that it will not loosen during use. The threads may become damaged over years of use.

Installation and Removal Instructions:
To remove the clamping bolt:
1.Lift the shroud.
2.Loosen the screws securing the front of the shroud assembly.
3.Rotate the shroud toward the rear of the saw to expose the center clamping bolt.
4.Press the spindle lock button.
5.Rotate the blade until the spindle lock snaps into place.
6.Use the wrench supplied with the saw to loosen the clamping bolt (note: this bolt is reverse threaded).
7.Remove the clamping bolt from the saw.
Reinstall the shroud:
a. Rotate the shroud toward the front of the saw to align the shroud brackets.
b. Tighten screws to secure front shroud bracket.
c. Lower the shroud.
