  • The aluminum piston driver is heat treated to maintain strength and durability for excessive use and wear and tear. | Driver is annealed at the threaded end to lower the hardness and make the material more ductile for improved shock resistance.
  • Rockwell Hardness Testing: Standard alloy drive hardness ranges between 56-59 HRC along the shaft. | All Superior Parts drivers are crimped at the aluminum base and can withstand a torque of 80 N-M (59ft-lb) before the aluminum shears off.
