Easy Installation: Remove the nut and lockwasher from blade bolt through inspection hole in deck of mower near the gearbox. Always replace lockwasher and nut when replacing blade bolt. Replace bolt if worn more than 1/4 inch at any point. Tighten nut to 600 ft. lbs.
Please Note: When properly mounted the threads of the bolt will extend slightly beyond the top of the Jam Nut, if the threads do not extend past the Jam Nut do not operate the cutter! Remove the bolts and replace with the correct blade bolts! Failure to replace abnormally worn blade bolts may lead to catastrophic failure of the blades and ejection of the broken part which may cause serious bodily injury or death.
