Special Features

  • Sheet is new but may have light surface scratches. Please bear in mind that hdpe has a smooth surface on each face and that this material scratches very easily, because of this characteristic it is mostly used for mechanical applications where a cosmetic appearance is not required.
  • The linear dimensions of our sheets are nominal and they have a tolerance of +-1/8" in each direction (length and width). Therefore the dimensions you request will be within the tolerance stated.

Description

HDPE is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum. HDPE material is durable and chemical resistant. Some common uses are in corrosion-resistant piping, plastic lumber and other non cosmetic applications. HDPE is also Non-Toxic and Non-Staining and offers low moisture absorption There is a tolerance of +/- 1/8" on all material we cut and sell.
