One end is connected by an SAE 45-degree Flare shaped pipe, and the other end is connected by an external thread NPT. The NPT thread is used to connect the internal thread pipe. The internal and external teeth are clear standard threads to ensure a good connection. The hex socket part can be conveniently tightened with a wrench.
