This sill is designed to help prevent drafts and water penetration from underneath the door. It is precut to 36” to accommodate any standard size door. It also has a full lineal subsill allowing it to be cut to any size required. The matching 2 inch extension is cut to just over 38 inches for individuals who prefer the Brickmold or trim to sit onto of the aluminum. In our experience, this helps prevent any rot in the brickmold and trim. Our vinyl cap is made from a specialty PVC specifically designed to not crack as heavy items are taken over it.
