This generator uses the induction effect to produce static. When two electrophores rotate, the charged, especially the spherical part of the discharge fork with insulated, accumulates a large amount of electric charge.
The conductive layer of the conductive plate is coated with conductive material, which is firm and durable, and prevents the aluminum foil from coming off easily.
Its static generation performance is improved, even in wet weather and rainy days.
It is used in electrostatic experiments to obtain a large amount of charge and high voltage (from tens of thousands of volts), in combination with other instruments for experiments on the charge distribution on the surface of the conductor, electric line or electrostatic field, spot discharge and vacuum tube discharge.It can also be used for various experiments, such as electrostatic induction, spark discharge, spot discharge and condenser capacitance adors (see the Leyden bottle of generator), among others.
