A dropping funnel usually features a graduated cylindrical tube or pear-shaped bulb as the main body.With female ground glass joint at top which can be stopped by a penny head joint stopper.The lower part of the funnel has a glass or PTFE stopcock to control the flow and a standard taper male joint.The dripping tube extends a bit below the lower joint. Separatory funnel with lower joint can be used as a dropping funnel.
