MATERIAL
Nylon fibers on strip discs are interspersed with silicon carbide minerals. We chose it because it cuts more aggressively than minerals in a finer grade. Among synthetic minerals, silicon carbide is one of the sharpest. It breaks down faster than aluminum oxide but leaves a finer finish.

FUNCTION
Stripping wheels are a safer alternative to wire brushes. Strip discs feature silicon carbide abrasive minerals incorporated into an open nylon web. It removes rust, paint, mill scale, coatings, and adhesives effectively from surfaces without significantly altering the base material.
