Leeb hardness is a new hardness measurement method first proposed by Dr. LEEB in Switzerland in 1978.
It is defined as the value calculated by the ratio of rebound velocity to the impact velocity of punch
at a certain speed from the surface of specimen at a certain speed
by the impact body of specified mass under the action of elastic force.
It is named by Dr. LEEB, so it is called Leeb hardness.
