G70 Hook Details: The binder includes a 3/8" - 1/2" grab hook on one end, whereas a 5/8" slip hook with a 1/2" grab hook on the other. All hooks are of G70, securely attached to the eye of the binder, assisting in retracting and extending the binder. The length adjustments from one grab hook to another are 24" - 31" (approximately), whereas the length adjustments from one grab hook to the slip hook (other side) are 27" - 33" (approximately). It will ensure flexibility and seamless connection points with chains and other attachment points.
Ratchet Mechanism: The chain binder features a ratchet handle that enables you to tighten and loosen the chain. You have to move the handle back and forth, allowing the pawl to engage with the teeth on the ratchet and rotate incrementally. Forward motion tightens the chain, allowing precise tension. Avoid overdoing it.
Hassle-Free Installation: It has a do-it-yourself installation process. Check the steps below:- Firstly, unscrew the hooks on both sides about 15 times.
Connect the hooks to the chains or anchor points of a flatbed trailer.
Once the hooks are attached, push the handle front and back for chain tightening. This is the ratchet mechanism.
Once you achieve the desired tension, use the lever lock to secure it and pull the handle down.
To uninstall, pull the handle up and release the lock lever. Start unscrewing the hooks until the chains are loose enough to release the hooks.
