Connect the output from your computer or sound card to the VCP-2, and send the VCP-2's output to your speakers. It's that simple.
The combination XLR-1/4" jacks give you the flexibility to attach both pro and consumer gear to the unit.
The VCP-2 is constructed with a metal chassis that will withstand the rigors of the road, as well as the occasional accidents of home use.
Description
Designed to sit between the output of your computer and the input of your powered speakers, the Polsen VCP-2 is a passive volume controller, one that offers a prominent dial for adjusting the level (or "volume") of audio. The design is passive, meaning no powered circuitry will color the sound. Operating at line level, the unit is suitable for use in a variety of scenarios, such as project studios, pro-audio studios, or even home environments.
On the input side, you'll find combination XLR-1/4" TRS jacks to interface with a variety of pro and consumer-grade equipment. Output connections are made possible thanks to two balanced 1/4" jacks; here is where you'll make the connection from the VCP-2 to your powered speakers.
The VCP-2 sports a steel construction that's both rugged and reliable. Taking up only 2 x 5.3 x 3.3" of space, the unit is relatively compact. It's also lightweight, weighing only 11.8 oz.
