MARKGOO 807166A2 Water Shutter Kit with Grommet for MerCruiser Sterndrive V6 Engines 4.3L Y-Pipe Exhaust Flapper Used with One Piece Manifold
If your exhaust Y-pipe changes size a few inches bellow the shutter you have a one piece manifold V6 4.3L Engines Y-pipe and need water shutter 807166A2. but If you have two rectangular holes for the grommets you need the 807166A1 water shutters.
Sometimes you will find pieces of them in the exhaust when you remove the drive for servicing, If they have ever overheated these tend to get damaged. They help keep water from entering the engine through the exhaust.
APPLICATION:
For use on MerCruiser stern drive engine Y-pipes with 2.98 inch diameter at the cross pin.
