Usage
Preparation
1. Stop the vehicle and keep that the vehicle engine is turned off, and wait for some time to allow the air conditioning system to stop operating completely. This is to avoid injury due to accidental activation of the air conditioner during operation, and also to prevent burns from the fins being in a hot state
2. Locate the condenser of your vehicle's air conditioner. The condenser is usually located at the front of the vehicle, in front of or next to the radiator; you can refer to your vehicle's owner's manual to pinpoint the location
Cleaning Process
1. For the condenser, gently remove most of the dust and debris from the surface of the fins with a soft-bristled brush before applying a fin comb. This step is to remove larger particles and avoid scratching the fins when using the fin comb
2. Align the teeth of the fin comb with the gaps in the condenser fins, keep that the teeth are inserted smoothly into the gaps and that the direction of insertion is parallel to the direction of fin alignment
3. Slowly move the comb along the length of the fins, from one end to the other, gently to avoid distorting the fins with excessive force. The fin comb will comb out some dust and small debris stuck in the gap of the fins, and comb the fins at the same time, so that they will be restored to a neatly arranged state
