These frames are machined from the solid block of Aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum, they are incredibly sturdy, built to protect your license plate from bent corners.
Aluminum bar grade 6061 is one of the most commonly used aluminum grades in the world. Known for its strength, workability and corrosion resistance. This type of aluminum is a great choice for a wide range of applications in automotive, airspace and construction industries.
The letters are laser engraved into American-made weather resistant and UV stable acrylic insert strips then bonded to the frame with the special outdoor-grade 3M adhesive.
Each frame has 4 mounting holes and fits all standard size USA and Canada 12" x 6" license plates. Can be used for the front or the back of the vehicle.
Not recommended for use in the following states: AL, CO, DE, IN, NH, NC and WY - states which don't allow to cover up the name of the state located on the bottom part of the license plate.
