【Function】 - The clutch actuator is a transmission part. The principle of the actuator is to automatically push the clutch release arm (and hence clutch) to remove drive from the engine to the gearbox. The clutch slave cylinder is a component found on vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. It works together with the clutch master cylinder to disengage the clutch when the pedal is pressed so that the transmission can be safely shifted.
【Common symptoms】- Normally when the clutch slave cylinder is going bad, it starts leaking because the seal is going bad as well.
