Mega'Block Hydrophobic Melamine Heat Shield (Peel & Stick) is an aluminum foil-faced fiberglass fabric composite on top of a hydrophobic melamine foam. Specifically designed to reflect radiant heat while offering excellent sound absorbing attributes utilizing an easy peel and stick application. This is an enhanced version of melamine foam with exceptional water-resistance properties maintaining all other key attributes for sound deadening. The open cell surface allows sound waves to penetrate the foam and not reflect as an echo. It is recommended for both acoustical and thermal insulation in aircraft, aerospace, marine, automotive, and architectural applications. Mega'Block's foam is resistant to most organic solvents and meets or exceeds national and international fire safety standards.
