Klotz Octane Booster is a top-treat fuel additive that increases the octane of the base fuel. The elevated octane level improves throttle response, mitigates early detonation, and stabilizes the flame front within the combustion chamber (especially when used in high-compression engines). The formulation also contains chemistry to improve lubricity, cleanliness, and storage stability. This additive is compatible with gasoline or ethanol blends. It is safe for oxygen sensors and catalytic converters, and it does not contain methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) or methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl (MMT).
