All ARP2000 are centerless ground, heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining, nominally rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength and are reusable as compared to the Torque to Yield -TTY- head . Optimum design, reliability and increased strength are the main attributes of head kits.

LS Engine Main Kit
Main kits main cap walk and fretting, as well as the threads in your engine block. All kits come complete with high quality nuts. The are manufactured from 8740 Chromoly , heat-treated in-house to 190,000 psi tensile strength, and J-form threads rolled after heat- to create a fastener that has threads 1000% stronger than others.
