Description

Willow Moss is a very hardy and undemanding live plant - great for beginners and experts alike! It is an alternative to Java Moss that is quickly growing in popularity. It looks almost identical to Java Moss, but the branches and strands are significantly larger and more defined. This is a great plant to keep in any freshwater aquarium due to its low lighting requirements. It is a moss that is capable of living in cold water tanks as well as tropical tanks. It grows into bushy patches that are always a favourite hiding place for shrimp and fish fry. We definitely foresee this moss becoming one of the most popular plants in the hobby in the near future! The moss is grown outdoors in Florida, and may contain a few pest snails or terrestrial bugs (the bugs will not survive or reproduce underwater). This is normal and the moss should recover within two weeks. Growing all year in both fast flowing water and still water, this native oxygenator produces a greyish-green moss, with branched stems. Sold in weighted bunches - One pack contains 5 bunches which is suitable for 2.5sqm. B unched/Weighted Normally Available from - May Water Depth - 30cm to 90cm Height - Submerged Position - Full Sun to Part Shade Growth - Fast Flowers - Evergreen Weighted bunch UK Native Specific Plant Care: Can be dropped in the pond as a weighted bunch. This plant can grow in both still and fast flowing water where anchorage is required. This can be achieved by tying the plant to a stone or brick and placing it in running water.
