Everyone loves the barn beam look! Add the look to your home with our rustic wood beams. You can have the look of a barn beam without the heavy weight and cost. Ours beams are made out of 3/4" Aspen wood. The beam height is 6 1/2" tall. You choose the length and finish and depth. Please note that each piece of wood is different and some may be more rustic and have more character than others. If you have any questions please contact me before you make your purchase as each beam is made to order. The height of the beam increases to 13" with the corbels attached. The corbels measure 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". The corbels will come predrilled with screws to be assembled upon receipt. Please note each beam is made to order, therefore, returns are not accepted unless item is damaged. If you have any questions, please ask them before ordering. Shipping is included in the purchase. The mantel is built utilizing a french cleat mounting bracket system. The corbels come predrilled with screws. Turn the beam upside down on a soft surface. The bottom of the shelf is flat. The top of the shelf has the French cleat mounting bracket. Line up the corbels with the holes in the bottom of the beam. Insert the screws through the bottom of the beam and use a small Philips screwdriver to tighten the screw. Installation using French Cleat Mounting Bracket (included). Please contact local hardware store or a professional for recommendation of screws (not included) needed for your application (i.e. drywall, brick, or tile). Follow instructions on the mounting bracket for orientation of the bracket. Locate studs on the wall and mark the measurements on the wall and the bracket. Pre-drill the holes into the bracket and then screw into the studs. The beam will sit flush on this mounting bracket.
