If you would like the valance thicker and protected from the sun, please choose the lining option. The valance measures 42 inches wide X 15 inches long. Valance includes a 2.5 inch rod pocket. If you are gathering the valance, you will need 1.5 to 2 times the width of the window for adequate fullness. The valance can be hung using clip curtain rings or straight on a rod.
