Pro Tie Cable Ties work by creating a loop around the objects to be fastened, and then tightening the tie using a locking mechanism. Cable ties are commonly used in a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, electronics, home, garden and much more. They keep wires neat and organized and prevent them from becoming tangled or damaged and can be cut to length using scissors or wire cutters. Button Head Cable Ties are a two-piece tie providing for parallel entry and exit through the head. The strap contains serrations on both sides and the head has two opposing pawls covered by a spherical dome cap. This design allows the strap bi-directional looping.
Problems with your ties breaking or brittle? If you are having an issue with brittle cable ties, add about a teaspoon of water (5 ml) to the bag of ties, reseal the bag closed with tape, and allow the cable ties to reabsorb water for 24 hours or so. They will go back to being flexible!
Working in really cold temperatures with cable ties? Cable ties become brittle the colder they get. If you are wanting to use cable ties below 32 degrees, you should be using ProTie Frosty Ties which can be used to -4°F (-20°C)!
