Sound Features: This tonal balance is bassy and L-shaped. The Neo 5 HiFi in-ear audiophile earphone offers a smooth bassy musicality, round as a whole and rich in layers of sound. It's warm and colorful. Voluptuous sound, all in rounded curves and without peak.
Bass: The bass is thick and heavy with impact, deliver a round slam and vibrant rumble, with fast sustain and also stocky, without intrusive resonance, it's tactile and striking as desired. As well, it's colored in warmth and the separation is not amplified in space (or dip) due to a syrupy transition in the low mids. For the classic chamber it is fine, but that the Neo 5 in-ear monitor wired earphone excels with modern music like soul, R&B, Rap, Pop for a cleaner and more readable listening.
Mids: The mids too are full in bodied and not aggressive in expression of presence, without being recessed or thin, the bass warmth complements the macro tone, it doesn't overwhelm it. On the NEO 5 audiophile in-ear earphone, the vocals are put forward both in presence and in body, it's dense and warm, for both female and male singers, which is a big plus for musical versatility in Pop, Indie Rock, etc.
Treble: The high frequencies on NEO 5 hybrid driver audiophile IEM are a little dark, but energetic in dynamics and realistic, although colored with softening the whole thing is really sweet, perfect for those sensitive to treble. These highs won't distract you with an invasion of shooted sound information, it's ''laid back'' but rich in layers of sound. Not recommend to Harp, harpsichord and acoustic guitar enthusiasts.
