The iButton Reader is seen as a standard USB keyboard (HID) by the system so there is no need for additional drivers. It is for use with Windows 7 and above operating systems with a QWERTY keyboard setting. It comes with an 8-foot (2.4-meter) USB cable. The reader unit measures 2 inches x 1.5 inches x 1 inch (51mm x 38mm x 25mm), not including mounting flanges. The iButton Reader is used in several ways: --For users of TimePilot Vetro, it can be used to set up iButtons at the PC. --This product is included in the TimePilot Extreme Blue Enhanced Starter Kit and is also used to set up iButtons for that system.
