Description

This EF-EOS R lens mount adapter is designed for Canon EF series lenses to perfectly work with Canon EOS R and EOS RP cameras. Electronic communication between an attached camera and lens is supported, enabling autofocus as well as auto exposure features. If an attached lens is capable of generating EXIF metadata, this adapter is designed to transfer that information so that it can be saved with image files generated by the combined Canon EF or EF-S-mount lens and Canon RF-mount camera.

This EF-EOS R is the lens adapter for Canon EF/EF-S lenses to Canon EOS R series cameras. It has metal electrical contact pins which is auto focus. The control loop is integrated on the adapter ring which can achieve the same operational feel as the RF lens control ring when connent to lens.
