Function of adapter ring:
1. After the transfer, you can shoot in M mode without displaying the aperture and without any information in the photo. Please manually set the lens value or adjust the adapter ring accordingly. The camera can change settings such as shutter speed and ISO.
2. Some cameras can use AV、 P、 Automatic mode shooting, automatic exposure, very convenient for shooting. For example, for Canon DSLR, for Sony NEX single lens reflex, etc. Nikon usually requires three digit models to provide this feature.
3. Some camera menus require corresponding settings to press the shutter button, such as AF DSLR, NEX single lens, M4/3 single lens, and so on. When encountering warnings such as "unable to press the shutter button in M mode" or "incorrect lens installation", the camera menu settings should be modified. Generally, in the "Settings" and "Custom" sections, the name is usually called "Release shutter button without lens installation", and the settings can be changed to "Allow".
