The 9060 is a new expression of the refined style and innovative design that has made the New Balance 99X Series the home of some of the most iconic models in the brand's history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from classic 99X models with a distorted sensitivity inspired by the proudly futuristic and technological aesthetics of the Y2K era. Stabilizer bars, borrowed from the 990, are widened and used throughout the upper to give a sense of visible movement, while wavy lines and enlarged proportions on a pod sculpted midsole put an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar cushioning platforms of the ABZORB and SBS.
