How to Identify an M6 Screw?

Measuring the Major Diameter (Outer Thread Diameter):
Standard M6 Major Diameter: 5.8–6 mm (slightly smaller than nominal due to threading).

If the measured value ≈5.9 mm, it is likely an M6 screw.
