Innovative Design for Perfect Juice Grooves
Ultra-Shear Carbide-Tipped Juice Groove Router Bits feature three unique profiles not found in our other juice groove bits. These bits are designed to create a 1/2" wide groove with a flat bottom and a small radius at the lower edges, available in 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16" radii. The upper edge is also softened with a radius, making sanding easier and facilitating juice flow into the groove.
Enhanced Functionality and Aesthetic
The flat bottom of these new bits ensures the utility of a juice groove without detracting from the geometric pattern or stunning natural grain of your workpiece. They are ideal for thinner boards where a deep juice groove would be out of proportion, maintaining both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Versatile and Easy to Use
Ultra-Shear Juice Groove Bits are compatible with Shaper Origin and CNC machines of any size. For hand-held routing, we've designed a special template guide bushing with a 1" outside diameter and 7/32” length. Simply shape a piece of 1/4" material 1" narrower than the desired groove center, attach it to your board with double-faced tape, and guide the router counter-clockwise around the template. Compatible with Porter-Cable style guide bushing router bases. For cordless palm routers, our StabilMax Trim Router Base offers balanced footing and compatibility with standard P-C guide bushings.
