Description:
This instrument is suitable for textile, fiber industry departments and scientific research units to cut fibers or yarns into extremely small cross-sectional slices and observe their morphology and structure through a microscope.
Specification:
Product name: Microtome Fiber Slicer
Model: Y172
Slice area: 3 × 0.8MM
Minimum slice thickness: 20 m
Volume: 82x27x25MM
Weight: 0.5KG
Working principle:
The instrument consists of two 1.6mm thick stainless steel baseplates to form the left and right baseplates of the slicer. On the right baseplate, there is a 0.8mm wide sample insertion groove, which cooperates with the on the left baseplate to push the sample tightly. The uniform feeding frame takes the uniform feeding frame pillar as the center, and can rotate while lifting the positioning pin when the uniform feeding knife is detached from the sample slot. There is a uniform feeding knife above the sample, and the thickness of the sample extending out of the base plate can be controlled by adjusting the uniform feeding screw. Use a knife to cut a thin specimen under the base plate.
