Description

Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945, by Joe Rosenthal. It depicts five United States Marines and a United States Navy corpsman raising a U.S. flag atop Mount Suribachi, during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. Our silhouette version is one we hope you will be proud to display. As a special bonus we also include an exclusive pattern for making the flag too! Height is for the silhouette, the flag and pole is higher still. Finished Dimensions: Height: 48 inches, Width: 77 inches - not including the flag and pole. Image redesigned Jan 20 2021 to remove the few overlapping (nested) lines that occurred on the pattern.
