This is custom designed to fit the DWARFLAB DWARF II Smart Telescope. (the BEIGE DWARF). What is a Dew Shield? A Dew Shield is used to reduce moisture build-up on your optics while using the telescope. A Dew Shield is also a useful device that can effectively block unwanted light from angles away from the direction of the target you are viewing - To use, simply screw the Dew Shield onto your DWARF II Filter Adapter and your set. If you decide to attach additional accessories, simply screw them onto the end of the Dew Shield and use as expected. - Our Dew Shield measures 1.25 inches in length (31.75mm) - Our Dew Shield is Custom 3D designed and printed using ABS. ABS is known to be very strong and resilient to temperature changes. ABS is also used in other applications including Toy Building Bricks, Sports Equipment and Automotive components When you are finished with your viewing session, remember to always remove the Dew Shield and Filter Adapter prior to powering down your telescope.
