Schluter-Kerdi-Line-A is an adaptor kit designed to convert a traditional clamping ring drain to a Kerdi-Line linear drain when removal of the clamping ring drain is not practical (e.g., when it is set in concrete slabs). The stainless steel adaptor ring features an over-molded rubber gasket and a variety of perforated hole patterns that align with most common clamping ring shower drains. The adaptor ring replaces the clamping ring and is attached to the drain body using the clamping ring bolts. This connection is made watertight via the rubber gasket and Kerdi-Fix adhesive/sealant. The Kerdi-Line channel body outlet slides into the adaptor ring, with a tight fit to the over-molded rubber gasket, ensuring a watertight seal. The Kerdi-Line-A adaptor kit is suitable for both mortar bed and Kerdi-Shower-LT/-LTS shower tray applications.
