The nature of the HID Xenon bulb is that the color temperature shifts over time, becoming whiter as it ages and eventually turning a bluish color before the end of the bulb's life. However, they also lose brightness in the process. This means a USED 4300K OEM bulb might look whiter than a brand-new Cool Blue (CB) bulb, even though it's producing less light.
