Function:    

The main function of the level sensor is to detect and control the level.

The coolant level sensor is a switch that is mounted on the radiator tank or in the expansion tank and is used to measure the level of engine coolant in the tank on top of the radiator.

If the coolant level drops below a certain level, the ECM will cause the alarm to go off, at which point the engine power will gradually drop to protect the engine.
