Installation Recommendations:
We still recommend that you seek professional installation to avoid damage to delicate equipment.
1. Remove the gas pedal assembly
Locate the gas pedal: locate the gas pedal assembly in the cockpit.
Disconnect the wiring harness plug: press the plug catch and gently unplug the wiring harness connector to avoid pulling on the wiring harness.
Remove the retaining screws: Use a socket or screwdriver to unscrew the retaining screws and carefully remove the gas pedal assembly.
2. Replacing the Sensor
Separate the old sensor: the gas pedal sensor is usually integrated into the pedal assembly, remove the housing screws and take out the old sensor (pay attention to the internal clips or retaining clips).
Clean the mounting surfaces: Clean the sensor contact surfaces and the inside of the pedal with alcohol to remove oil and dirt and to ensure that the new sensor fits securely.
Install the new sensor: align the slots or clips, install the new sensor in place, make sure the set screws are tightened according to the standard torque
3. Connecting the Harness and Test Signal
Connect the wiring harness: Re-insert the sensor harness plug into the corresponding socket, and make sure the clips are locked in place.
