Product name: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate
CAS: 114040-31-02
Molecular Formula: C6H7MgO9P
Molecular weight: 278.39
Typical properties
Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP) is a stable precursor of vitamin C. It achieves a constant delivery of vitamin C into the skin and has antioxidative effects. It offers a more stable form of vitamin C, however, the antioxidant properties of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate are much weaker than those of L-ascorbic acid. L-ascorbic acid is by far the most effective vitamin C with the greatest capability of neutralizing free radicals.
