I have a niece who is 7 years old, and one time at church camp she was really struggling to learn how to swim. She felt embarrassed watching her friends swim easily while she kept sinking and panicking. We talked about how important it is to be patient and to keep praying even when things feel tough. I got her one of these charms as a reminder of Romans 12:12: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer”.
